Culture Audit

The Kara Culture Audit gives leaders a clear, data-driven picture of their organisation’s real behavioural norms using the Kara 13 Values, a research-based set of behaviours proven to drive performance, trust, agility and execution.

 

Some organisations use the Culture Audit as the first step in a culture refresh. Others use it as a standalone measurement, especially when they have already completed a culture programme and simply want to track how far they’ve moved. 

Either way, the Culture Audit provides clarity, confidence, and a roadmap for better organisational performance. 

What the Culture Audit Measures 

The audit evaluates behavioural consistency across all 13 organisational values, grouped into three categories: 

These 13 values emerged from Dr. Alan O’Neill’s doctoral research and decades of client experience…  the values that appear most consistently in high-performing, aligned organisations, regardless of sector or geography. 

This is not a generic list. This is the practical core of organisational behaviour.

2. Culture Explorer. An assessment that plots people vs task orientation and pace… placing your team on the Kara Culture Matrix (Kindred, Avant-Garde, Regimented, Action). 

3. Qualitative Insights. Open-text questions uncover themes, stories and cultural signals that data alone can’t show.
